Josh and Anna Duggar, wedding day

Josh and Anna Duggar, wedding day

Joshua Duggar and his now wife Anna married on Sept. 26, 2008, at Buford Grove Baptist Church in Hillard, FL. Both the bride and groom are Independent Baptists that are part of a movement called Quiverfull. In lieu of their religion, it was expected that Anna look have a very conservative look when it came to her wedding style.

With all the sexystyle gowns out there today, as well as the criticism this couple has gotten for marrying so young and following in their religious beliefs about family, I thought I would take a moment to give praise to Anna Duggar and how lovely she actually looked.

Anna wore a boat neck white gown in a traditional style with short sleeves with some delicate crystal embellishment that formed and empire waist. Her hair was down with curly locks draping over her shoulders. The makeup was tasteful, and might I add, very nicely done. Anna also sported the very popular ribbon edge veil. It just goes to show you, a bride can be beautiful without showing a lot of skin is something to respect.

Kudos to Anna and Josh Duggar made a stunning bride and groom! All the best!

Well, I for one wouldn't have worn that dress past sunday school. I mean even conservatives deserve to look good at least on their wedding day. Its not so much as the style, but more of the fact that she could of at least added some sparkle or a ribbon to the dress to not make it look so plain. Besides your wedding day is supposed to be the best day ever, and I have seen mormon dresses that are better off than this. Josh Anna, hope you don't have too many kids. Don't spread the love too thin like your parents do.
